The inspiration for JordanLuca’s FW2024 stems from a seemingly simple item - the balloon. However, behind its vibrant facade lie intricate layers of meaning. Brightly-colored party balloons evoke bittersweet nostalgia, conjuring images of gatherings, childhood, and unguarded happiness. The act of inflating them symbolizes hope, yet their vulnerability to the slightest touch mirrors life's fragility.

In this collection the brand explores these themes, recognizing the need for hope tempered with truth. Commissioning 1500 balloons designed by artist Dominic Myatt, each adorned with unique artworks, adds a personalized touch to the collection.

Personal encounters with grief prompted us to reassess spirituality, focusing on finding joy in the present. Chuck Palahniuk's words, "Once the breakable things are broken, then everyone can relax," resonate with our belief in acknowledging and embracing life's losses. Time, an ever-present force, influences the collection, illustrated by a dress made of 37 continuous meters of fabric, symbolizing its inescapable embrace.

Time, emotions, and life's ephemeral nature are universal experiences, transcending cultural, social, and economic boundaries. Like love, they are equalizing forces, and the brand show venue's archways serve as a reminder that we must navigate through life.

As we delve into the avant-garde world of JORDANLUCA's FW24 collection, each piece narrates a story of rebellion and sophistication. Let's explore the key items that define this season's narrative:

Bulldog Bomber: A Statement of Purposeful Haste

The Bulldog shoulder, an emblem of determination under pressure, expresses a powerful body language. This bomber jacket becomes a statement of purposeful haste, reflecting an assertive stance against the complexities of our world.

The Double Collar "Clover Shirt": Symbol of Intentional Dysfunction

A fusion of British Saville Row and Italian tailoring traditions, the double collar shirt challenges classicism and formality. Embodying intentional dysfunction, it stands as a symbol of cultural amalgamation and sartorial rebellion.

FW24 Kilt Trousers: A Statement on Modern Masculinity

Revolutionizing tailoring, the kilt emerges as a classic suit trouser, challenging convention and making a statement on modern masculinity. It pays homage to tradition and ceremony, an iconic piece in JORDANLUCA's brand history.

Carousel of Chaos Dress: Raw Couture Unveiled

Breaking away from traditional couture norms, the Carousel of Chaos Dress exposes seams and bias cuts, inviting the wearer to become a voyeur in the dressmaking process. Crafted with sustainable satin viscose, it symbolizes movement through chaos with a grounding touch of darts defining the wearer's form.

Monolith Coat: Power and Resilience in Tradition

The Monolith Coat redefines traditional tailoring with wide shoulders, utilizing innovative fusing techniques. Screen-printed Harris Tweed bears the markings of a Hyena, signifying resilience amid chaos. This juxtaposition embodies the ethos of JORDANLUCA—a fusion of severity and tradition.

Parka Jacket: Brutalist Luxury with Subcultural Echoes

Brutalist pattern cutting defines the Parka Jacket, with pockets doubling as lapels. Inspired by Mods, the British Royal Airforce, royalty, and football casuals, this piece seamlessly blends inhibited luxury with subcultural references. Originally designed for airfield headphones, it now accommodates AirPods on the urban commute.

JORDANLUCA's FW24 collection encapsulates a spirit of rebellion, pushing boundaries while maintaining a sophisticated allure. Each piece serves as a testament to the brand's commitment to redefine contemporary fashion.
