Could you share your name, origin, profession, and, if you follow astrology, your zodiac sign?

My name is Kennedi Holloway. I’m currently living in New York City, but I’m from Maryland and have previously lived in Chicago, Spain and London. I work in Private Banking. I’m a Scorpio Sun, Sagittarius Moon and Pisces Rising.

What is your relationship with Paris Fashion Week?

I came just for fun! My best friend works for a magazine and had a lot of events planned, so I decided to come along. I attended a couple shows, presentation collections and events. I met so many amazing creatives. It was so much fun and so inspiring!

Could you share more about your greatest passions or obsessions? How do these influence your daily life or work?

I love music. I go to concerts almost every week. I think I went to over 40 different concerts and festivals in 2023 alone. I especially love going to smaller shows for local artists in whatever city I’m living in. In university I hosted my own radio show for four years, and I was also a part of a concert production club. And I genuinely love every genre, from metal to indie to dubstep. Music is definitely my biggest passion!

Aside from music, I love to read. I read about 50 books a year. I love animals, nature, traveling, psychology and neuroscience, spirituality, learning about different religions, fashion and art. I also love to draw and paint, especially on clothes.

What or who are your biggest sources of inspiration, and how do they fuel your creativity or drive?

I’m absolutely obsessed with all things fantasy: books, movies, games and fantasy inspired art and fashion. The aesthetics are always so beautiful. I love feeling transported to another world completely different from our own. The possibilities of creation and freedom of creativity are limitless. There are no bounds to what the mind can come up with. There can be sentient animals, dragons, elves, fairies, warriors, aliens, etc. Universes with magic where anything becomes possible. Fantasy makes me feel inspired to really get creative and think outside the box when it comes to making art.

Looking ahead, what are some key goals or achievements you're striving for in your personal or professional life?

I’m currently deciding on a few different paths. I eventually want to transition into a career that lines up more with my passions. My goal is to work in the music business; touring, artist management, or A&R. Something involving live events. I’d like to start modeling. I want to learn how to DJ. I want to start selling the art I make. I also know that I want to travel for an extended period of time, so I’m trying to figure out where to fit that in. And then one day I want to start my own business. Just not sure what kind yet!

Music often reflects our moods and inspirations. Could you tell us about the last three songs you listened to and what they mean to you?

Open My Door - Alice Phoebe Lou. This song is about protecting your energy and making sure not to give so much to others that you're not keeping enough for yourself. To find love and peace within yourself. I think it’s such an important message and a really beautiful song.

Brick by Boring Brick - Paramore. I’ve loved this song since middle school. It’s all about wanting to escape reality through a fantasy world/daydreaming, which I can definitely relate to!

Space Song - Beach House. I think this is one of the most beautiful, atmospheric songs I’ve ever heard.
