In a revolutionary fusion of music, fashion, and technology, luxury fashion platform SYKY has unveiled its latest digital collaboration, “Glamour as Armor,” with Korean-American R&B artist Audrey Nuna. At the heart of this collaboration lies the innovative vision of SYKY Collective member Fanrui Sun from Sunw, a London-based Chinese digital artist and designer renowned for her exploration of the intersections between nature, humanity, and technology. With her expertise in luxury sensibilities and 3D technology, Sun crafted a bespoke digital collection inspired by Nuna’s highly anticipated single “Jokes on Me.”
The hero image of “Jokes on Me” features Nuna adorned in Sunw’s metallic creations, reflecting the song’s themes of defiance and self-expression. The digital garments, crafted with meticulous detail, exude a sense of rebellion and confidence, echoing Nuna’s distinctive “rage n B” style.
The collection comprises two original pieces: Symphony and Galactic. Symphony, reminiscent of futuristic armor for romantics, features a breastplate, battle skirt, and leg cover crafted in mercury-colored metal, embellished with delicate spear-like tendrils. Galactic, on the other hand, explores the outer reaches of the universe with its opalescent outer shell, transparent and translucent like Mother of Pearl meets metallic wax paper, evoking the undulating form of a jellyfish.
What sets this collaboration apart is its accessibility and immersive experience. The “Glamour as Armor'' collection will be available for purchase exclusively through SYKY, allowing fans to own a piece of digital fashion history.
