Mahmood's Meteoric Rise: Platinum Hits, Sold-Out Tours, and Unstoppable Success
We at RED-EYE had the incredible honor of witnessing Mahmood's final show of his sold-out European tour at Fabrique Milano. This was not just a concert; it was a celebration of artistic excellence and a testament to Mahmood's profound impact on the music scene. But the magic didn't stop there. Rosario Rex Di Salvo, in collaboration with AI, co-created stunning photos inspired by Mahmood's visionary artistry.
"Nel letto degli altri" by Mahmood, his latest work released on February 16th right after the Festival di Sanremo, has achieved platinum status. This news comes just this week, following the conclusion of his European tour. The 17-date tour, spread across 10 different countries (all sold out), represents just a small part of the success Alessandro Mahmood has achieved in 2024.
Sanremo and "Tuta Gold," which became an instant viral hit on TikTok, have elevated him to a new level in his career, despite the numerous milestones he has already reached: winning the Sanremo Festivals, earning well-deserved platinum records, and creating hit songs.
The setlist for this European tour included everything: the most danceable medleys, flawlessly performed new album tracks, and songs from "Ghettolimpo" as well as his older tracks (like "Gioventù Bruciata"), all while maintaining a very clean set. Mahmood commands the stage effortlessly, along with his band, interacting with the audience with enviable ease.
The live performance at Fabrique may not have aimed to impress in every aspect, but it made us understand who Alessandro Mahmood is on stage: a powerful voice, perfect stage presence, and incredible talent.
To open the final show of this European tour last Saturday, Mahmood brought along Camilla Magli and Ginevra, two artists worth knowing and seeing live.
In October, he will begin his tour in arenas all over Italy, where Mahmood’s well-deserved success will almost certainly claim the space it deserves.
