Six designers, Six aesthetics, and a whole lot of Fashion Attitude. 080 Barcelona Fashion SS27
In Barcelona, styling is turning up the volume. Extreme layering, oversized silhouettes, clashing colours and textures that steal the spotlight. From Japanese anime to Fellini’s surreal cinematic universe, via club kid culture, sustainability and a fresh wave of pop references, fashion is mixing codes, breaking conventions and rewriting the rules of getting dressed. 6 brands, 6 different visions, and one thing in common: a wardrobe that needs fewer rules and a lot more personality. We take a closer look at the most interesting looks from 080 Barcelona Fashion SS27, where experimentation, styling and new aesthetic obsessions take centre stage.

SKFK: FARMCORE, BUT MAKE IT STREET
The Basque vegetable garden meets streetwear, and sustainability gets a personality upgrade. Aprons, functional pockets and workwear-inspired silhouettes collide with graphic prints, vibrant colours and organic textures. Styling plays with effortless layering and unexpected contrasts, turning traditional workwear into something urban, playful and distinctly contemporary. The casting brings a sense of authenticity, real people energy, while the beauty aesthetic embraces fresh, natural skin and an effortless, less-filter-more-skin attitude. Because dressing consciously doesn't mean compromising on character.
O’BARRET: THE BODY IS THE MAIN CHARACTER
Draping, intricate weaving and sculptural constructions reshape the silhouette, turning fabric into a second architecture around the skin. Satin finishes, tactile textures and organic volumes play with what is revealed and what remains hidden, creating a delicate tension between protection and vulnerability. Styling becomes almost performative: garments no longer simply follow the body, they sculpt it, amplify it and rewrite its proportions. More than just looks, these are wearable sculptures that blur the boundaries between fashion, art and the human form.
404 STUDIO: REALITY? NOT FOUND
What if your wardrobe fell straight into a psychedelic anime? Drawing inspiration from Satoshi Kon's surreal masterpiece Paprika, 404 Studio takes us on a fashion trip somewhere between dreams and reality. Crochet, experimental knitwear, sheer fabrics and deconstructed silhouettes collide with hyper-saturated colours and almost hallucinatory contrasts. Unexpected layering, clashing textures and distorted proportions create characters that look like they've stepped out of an alternate dimension. The beauty references follow the same dreamlike direction, channelling anime-inspired aesthetics, pop accents and an almost otherworldly sense of beauty. The result? A wardrobe where fantasy takes over and reality becomes entirely optional.
ACCEPTANCE LETTER: THE JESTER HAS ENTERED THE CHAT
Fellini's visionary circus meets clowncore, but forget everything you know about the traditional clown costume. Acceptance Letter turns the court jester into a full-blown fashion statement, somewhere between irony, provocation and social commentary. Extreme layering, eccentric proportions and deliberately mismatched pieces challenge the conventions of everyday dressing. The styling is a carefully orchestrated chaos of theatrical references and unexpected combinations, with each look seemingly bringing a different character to life. Even the beauty references draw from the circus universe, suggesting graphic details and an intentionally imperfect aesthetic. It's fashion that plays with hierarchies, laughs at conventions and reminds us that sometimes the real outsider is the one who understands the game better than anyone else.
OUTSIDERS DIVISION: TOO WEIRD TO BE BASIC
Forget minimalism. Here, more is more isn't just an aesthetic, it's a whole attitude. With Groomed and Horny, Outsiders Division mixes cartoon-inspired visuals with the unapologetic energy of club culture, exploring desire, adolescence and identity. Primary colours, exaggerated proportions, body-hugging silhouettes and provocative graphics create a wardrobe somewhere between playful maximalism and underground rebellion. The styling is perfectly calculated chaos: unlikely layers, clashing colours and amplified volumes challenge every conventional idea of balance. The beauty references lean into an after-hours aesthetic, with lived-in skin, undone hair and a raw, instinctive attitude. The result is bold, ironic and deliberately unconventional. Because being overdressed is infinitely more interesting than blending in.
DOMINNICO: CORPORATE GIRL GONE WILD
Power dressing meets the provocative energy of Madonna's Blond Ambition Tour, blending '90s glamour, Y2K nostalgia and club culture into one unapologetically sexy wardrobe. Pinstripes, corsetry, pencil skirts, deconstructed bombers and satin-finish leather rewrite the codes of traditional officewear with a distinctly pop attitude. Styling plays with proportions, layering and statement accessories, mixing tailored precision with unapologetic sensuality. Touches of pink and pistachio green soften an otherwise after-dark wardrobe, while the beauty references channel the magnetic appeal of '90s pop icons. The result? A new generation of working girls: less corporate, more attitude. Because sometimes even the dress code deserves to be broken.
